The Beaumont Trust is a charitable educational resource for medical, voluntary and lay people looking to learn more about Gender Dysphoria, Transgender issues and related matters.  We also offer support to those affected by the issues they raise.

The Trust’s vision is to create an educated and informed society where all gender diversity is valued and celebrated in a safe and rewarding environment for all gender variant people. For transgender people looking for a local support group, we recommend you contact our sister organisation The Beaumont Society, or look through our free online database in the help and advice section of our website.

The Trust’s three objectives are as follows :-

  1. To assist Medical and other support organisations working in the delivery of care to those affected by Gender Dysphoria by providing thought leadership, research and information.

  2. To educate and inform the general public and professional organisations about Transgender issues, care, care, support and integration.

  3. To relieve the emotional stress caused by trans-sexualism and or transvestism to those affected, their families and friends.

By building on our research into gender identity, its development and representation, we create training programmes, educational literature and good practice guidelines which improve the lives of trans and agender people not just here in the UK, but also internationally through our affiliations.
